Across more than 1,500 square metres of exhibition space, over 1,400 original artefacts provide insights into the lives of both Roman soldiers and civilians. Children, in particular, will enjoy the Archaeological Park, with its ancient wall remains, stone replicas and a reconstructed cavalry barracks built to full scale. Together, these elements bring history to life and make it easier to understand.
