Natural Bathing Lake in Upper SwabiaSwimming Fun at the Obersee Lido

Water is usually a child's favourite element. It doesn't take much to get them excited about it. So we drive to Kisslegg and park at the romantic castle gardens. From there, it's just a short walk to the lido at Obersee. The picturesque natural bathing lake has been the epitome of a perfect day's swimming for us ever since. We chill out under the big old trees while the children frolic in the water of the moorland lake. They do somersaults from the diving platform, fight with the water octopus and laugh their hearts out. The little ones splash around in the sand and mud area under the awnings. Sun-seekers can hire a pedalo or rowing boat. At the end of a wonderful day's holiday, we are all one thing: happy and full of wonderful memories. By the way:
In Upper Swabia there are many bathing lakes in beautiful natural landscapes. Out of respect for nature, we take everything we have brought back with us for a great day of swimming.

Explore the Rems Valley From the WaterWild and Romantic Canoe Trip on the Rems

The Rems River originates in the Swabian Alb and flows into the Neckar near Ludwigsburg. The canoe and SUP tour begins in Weinstadt-Endersbach: since 2019, a continuous route has run five kilometers to Waiblingen. Before setting off, remember to keep quiet and take your trash with you.We set off at the Birkelwehr. We glide quietly downstream, past an idyllic riverside landscape. The silence and nature allow us to truly slow down. Along the way, we carry the canoe past a few weirs. A rest area invites us to stop for a picnic before we continue paddling at a leisurely pace. After about 2–3 hours, we reach Waiblingen. The exit point is centrally located in the city, where we return the canoe.
By the way:

Upon request, the providers will also transport bicycles to the exit point—ideal for the return trip.

Water Park in the Ortenau RegionRulantica - The Indoor Water World at Europa-Park

The water park in Rust offers water fun in any weather. We take advantage of a break in the rain to visit the Rulantica indoor water world—an imaginative island in the North Sea. Scandinavian style, Nordic landscapes, and mystical scenes create a special atmosphere. Across nine themed areas, we discover fantastical creatures and attractions. In “Vinterhal,” we dare to try the jump slide and plunge into the water from a height of 1.5 meters—not for the faint of heart. On the other hand, you can relax on bubble loungers in the pleasantly warm water. There’s also action waiting outside, such as in the heated wild stream. But when the sun comes out, we prefer to relax in a lounge chair.By the way:

Water Rafting in the Murg ValleyWild on the Water With the Inflatable Boat

In the middle of the Black Forest, the Murg still flows in its original riverbed. Perfect for abseiling, hiking and soft rafting with the whole family. Our rafting tour starts in Forbach. Equipped with life jackets, helmets and paddles, we stand at the entry point. The water is calm, the river wide. But after a few meters it narrows and picks up speed. Small rapids form. The instructions are actually clear. But as soon as we sit in the dinghy, everything is forgotten. We paddle wildly and get stranded on large rocks. The fun factor is right. After a quarter of a kilometer, we head for the shore and carry the boat back to the entry point. We can paddle for as long as we have energy and fun. And we have plenty of it.
