Arriving by car:
Are you arriving by car? No problem, but here's a few things to know:The Litzelstetten-Mainau nature campsite is located directly on Lake Constance and is easily accessible via highway A81 (Stuttgart–Singen) or A96 (Munich–Lindau).There are no parking spaces at the campsite itself, but short-term unloading is possible - please pay attention to the signs on site. Please use the public parking areas along Großherzog-Friedrich-Straße and only park within marked parking areas, as parking directly at the campsite is strictly prohibited.Unloading directly at your tent is not possible, as the site is located in a nature reserve and is car-free. So, for the last stretch, you'll have to carry your bags the last few steps - but you'll be rewarded by the unspoiled nature and lake view.Arriving by public transport:
Those who want to travel more sustainably (and even get a discount) are best off using buses and trains:Eco-conscious travellers can reach the campsite easily by train via Konstanz main station. Then take the bus line 4/13 toward Litzelstetten, get off at the final stop ‘Litzelstetten Tankstelle’, and it’s about a 10 minute walk from there to the campsite. The bus runs regularly, including evenings and weekends – and with the Lake Constance Guest Card, you can use the public transport the region free of charge.

Are Dogs Allowed at the Campsite?

Yes, dogs are welcome at the Litzelstetten-Mainau Nature Campsite. However, there are a few rules to ensure everyone enjoys a relaxing holiday.

Please keep dogs on a lead: Dogs must remain on a lead at all times while on the campsite premises – even if they are already familiar with the area.
