The gnarled cherry and apple trees are decorated with colorful lanterns. Deckchairs and bales of straw are now placed where the farm animals usually graze. At the Fußthomashof Farm in the Dreisam Valley, final preparations are underway for a concert of the 'Landleben LIVE' series. The band 'Rhinwaldsounds' from the Ortenau region will perform at the small farm near Freiburg. They will delight the audience with their self-written songs in Alemannic dialect. There will also be drinks and ice cream from the region, various dishes and a look behind the scenes of the farm.

The concert series has been organized by the Dreisamtal Tourism Association in cooperation with the local farms since 2021. Artists from all over Europe are invited to perform in this special setting. A great and intended side effect: the guests also get to know the farms in the Dreisam Valley. "There are so many farms in the Dreisam Valley with great products, which can be experienced in this way," says Julian Semet, managing director of the tourism association, proudly. In 2025, four summer concerts will take place again.

It's worth combining your concert visit to the Dreisam Valley with a short break. The densely wooded region begins just a few minutes by car from Freiburg im Breisgau. In addition to the towns of Kirchzarten, Oberried, Buchenbach and Stegen, there is much more beautiful nature to discover. For example, a trip to Mount Schauinsland, one of the highest mountains in the Black Forest, is particularly beautiful. You can take the cable car to the top.
